This page describes how to rate an image in the Imagebank∞.

Rating an image

You can give every image you view a rating which will help others to find the best images in the future. To rate an image you need to be logged in, and then simply click on a thumbnail of the image you want to get the image view.

At the top of the image view page you will see a line which says "Rate this image (rated ? times):" and which has a row of stars next to it. The current average rating is shown by the red stars - if 4 stars are lit, the average rating is between 3.5 and 4.49, for example. To rate the image, move your mouse over the number of stars you want to give it - 7 being he highest, 1 the lowest. Click. Nothing will happen except that the number of stars you voted will now show, and in red when you move your mouse away.

That's it! Please note, to avoid people abusing the system, you won't be able to rate an image more than once, however many times you click on the rating stars.
